This new design greatly reduces the incentive for developers to fork our core Candy Machine program, which was previously a method some developers used to add new features. This means more flexibility without sacrificing the stability of Candy Machine.

Users can create custom Candy Guards to better suit their needs and project functionality. When using custom Guards, builders and creators have more control over what they build and the ability to cherry-pick the features that matter most to them.
